GLORIA (CONT’D)

I can’t stand these damn tights.

She adjusts her dress. As she walks, she almost topples over. Gloria is clearly not used to walking in high heels.

THOMAS

Would you please smile a little bit, Glo?

GLORIA
I hate this.

THOMAS
What the heck is your problem?

GLORIA
(rising her voice)
I don’t like investigating. I feel like a freaking librarian. All I do is research, research, research.

THOMAS

What’s wrong with librarians? I love librarians, they are organized and clean.

GLORIA
And frigid.

Two young gentlemen realize that Gloria seems to be talking alone. Gloria smiles at them pretending that nothing is wrong.

THOMAS

Look who’s talking, Virgin Mary. You’ve never spread your legs beyond a centimeter.

The gentleman hear these suggestive buzzings coming from Gloria’s hair.

GENTLEMAN 1

What??

GLORIA
Nothing!

She giggles making a buzzing sound, imitating Thomas. She gives a charming smile and then heads into the crowd.
